Billet wheels are a great way to make your sled stand out in a crowd, or give your sled that custom look at a low price. When going to larger rear wheels, in addition to the wow factor you get, there are also performance gains with your machine, as it takes much less power to pull your track around a larger wheel. When going to a larger rear wheel you require an offset axle, please see our offset axle section for more information.
Our factory sized wheels are the same height & thickness as the stock wheels on your machine, so no modifications to your machine is required. Simply just bolt on.....and see the difference these will make to the look of your machine.
If the wheels are going to be running over studs, then you need to get our wheels with replaceable rubber, if you don't your wheels will still last, they just won't look that nice as the studs will ding them up.
If you don't see your sled listed, don't worry, we can make a wheel for pretty much any sled, please send us an email and we will confirm it for you.
Bearings:
All of our Billet wheels will come with a standard OEM replacement bearing installed in them. If you want a higher grade bearing we are now offering NTN bearings for an additional cost of $7 per bearing. If you want the upgraded bearings please be sure to purchase them at the bottom of each page.
Rubber:
At Tricked-Toys we don't glue to hold our rubber on like all of the other guys, it simply just doesn't last. Our rubber fits into a machined groove in the wheels kind of like a car tire, and the good thing about our rubber is it can be replaced if it gets damaged. Rubber is required if your wheels are going to be running over studs. The other advantage to rubber wheels is they will not get ice build up, which can happen if you don't have rubber on your wheels. We do reccomend rubber wheels if your sled has a 1 ply track, or if you are a high mileage driver. We have been making billet wheels with rubber since 2008 and we have had great results, we have many customers that have over 10,000 km on our wheels with no issues with the rubber failing.
Warranty:
At Tricked-Toys we offer a lifetime warranty on our billet wheels for bending or breaking, so if you are a jumper, or really aggressive rider don't be afraid to put our billet wheels on your sled.
Plastic Wheels:
These type of wheels can be used as OEM replacement wheels for a lot less money then OEM wheels. They are solid black with no design, so they are also suited to the all black stealth look that some people like. Another common use for the 8 inch plastic wheels is to use them as inner wheels on the offset and re-location axles since they are not seen as much.
