Billet Wheels & Nasty Nuts

Billet Idler Wheels:

Billet wheels are a great way to make your sled stand out in a crowd, or give your sled that custom look at a low price. When going to larger rear wheels, in addition to the wow factor you get, there are also performance gains with your machine, as it takes much less power to pull your track around a larger wheel. When going to a larger rear wheel you require an offset axle, please see our offset axle section for more information.

Our factory sized wheels are the same height & thickness as the stock wheels on your machine, so no modifications to your machine is required. Simply just bolt on.....and see the difference these will make to the look of your machine.

If the wheels are going to be running over studs, then you need to get our wheels with replaceable rubber, if you don't your wheels will still last, they just won't look that nice as the studs will ding them up.

If you don't see your sled listed, don't worry, we can make a wheel for pretty much any sled, please send us an email and we will confirm it for you.

Bearings:

All of our Billet wheels will come with a standard OEM replacement bearing installed in them. If you want a higher grade bearing we are now offering NTN blue bearings for an additional cost of $7 per bearing. If you want the upgraded bearings please be sure to purchase them below on this page.

Rubber:

At Tricked-Toys we don't glue our rubber on like all of the other guys, it simply just doesn't last. Our rubber fits into a machined groove in the wheels kind of like a car tire, and the good thing about our rubber is it can be replaced if it gets damaged. Rubber is required if your wheels are going to be running over studs.

Warranty:

At Tricked-Toys we offer a lifetime warranty on our billet wheels for bending or breaking, so if you are a jumper, or really aggressive rider don't be afraid to put our billet wheels on your sled.

Plastic Wheels:

These type of wheels can be used as OEM replacment wheels for a lot less money then OEM wheels. They are solid black with no design, so they are also suited to the all black stealth look that some people like. Another common use for the 8 inch plastic wheels is to use them as inner wheels on the offset and re-location axles since they are not seen as much.

Nasty Nuts:

If you really want to make your sled stand out, add on a set of Nasty Nuts. These will fit any wheel (plastic or other Billet Wheels) that use either a 6205 or 6004 bearing (see note below on this). They come with a threaded stud that will replace your existing idler wheel bolt , and the Nasty Nut will be the nut that holds on your idler wheel, ensuring that they will not come off like stock wheel caps.

If you are also purchasing wheels we are offering a discount on the Nasty Nuts.

Note: You will need a 1.5 inch wrench or socket to install these, or a set of our Nasty Nut wrenches which can be purchased below.

Sizes:

It is very hard for us to know what bolts are in every sled out there, we have listed the 2 common sizes for front and rear wheels, to verify what is in your machine you will have to take your existing bolts out. The length can be measured easily at home, but for the thickness & thread type you may have to take them to your local hardware store and match it up there. If your size is not listed, please select 'OTHER' and give us the details in your order.

Rear Wheels:

M10 x 20 mm (3/4 inch) coarse thread

3/8 x 3/4 inch coarse thread (16 pitch)

Front Wheels:

M8 x 100 mm (3 3/4 inch) coarse thread

5/16 x 3 3/4 inch coarse thread (18 pitch)

What they will fit:

These will fit over any wheel (all billets & stock) that uses a 6205 or 6004 bearing. Before ordering please inspect your wheel, if you bearing is flush to the front of the wheel (not sunk in) then you have no problem. If the front edge of your bearing is set back further into the wheel, then you have to measure how far in they are set and give those measurements to us, and we will make the nut deeper so it will touch your bearing

XP Owner's: Due to the fact that BRP uses really thin M6 bolts for there front wheels we will be using M8 bolts for our nasty nuts. You will need to take a drill and make the holes in your rails slightly larger so the nasty nuts will fit.

Nasty Nuts Wrenches:

These make installinig your nasty nuts much easier, and if you don't already own a really large set of wrenches it will probably be cheaper to buy these. The other advantage is they are small enough to carry in a pack or bag you might have on your sled, allowing you to make trail side track adjustments.
